Dear visitor,

This is our son Jefferson. He unexpectedly passed away on the 1st July 2023 at the age of 14, leaving a huge void in the lives of our family and his friends. To help us move forward we would like to honour him by trying to achieve something positive in his name. However, the inconclusive nature of the coroners report, the cause of death was recorded as Sudden Unexpected Death in Childhood, means there is no medical reason for which we can fund raise. This has led to the following idea.

We have decided to set up a community space, which we will make available to the various grief charities that have been of great support and comfort to us these last few months. In the immediate days and weeks following Jefferson's death we would have had to travel a considerable distance to have counselling in person, a journey which was too daunting at the time.

We realised that our Jefferson can help fund this endeavour. Like a lot of children he used to leave sweet notes for his Mum and drawings of his Dad around the house for us to find. As he grew older these got more absurd, increasingly insulting, and most importantly, funnier.

To this end we have launched a range of clothing and accessories, Drawn By Jeff, featuring a selection of his art. We believe they would make wonderful presents celebrating the absurdity of parenthood.

We would like Jeff's death not to have been in vain and setting up this space would be a fitting memorial to him as he was a warm, kind and considerate young man.

Similarly, if his artwork can bring a smile to people's faces and help make the world a happier place, that would in no small way be a wonderful legacy for him to have.
